MEXICO CITY — A person was shot to loss of life Thursday at a Starbucks espresso store in an upscale neighborhood of Mexico Metropolis, and police saif he apparently had hyperlinks to a northern Mexico drug cartel.
Metropolis police mentioned the capturing occurred contained in the Plaza Carso shopping center on the sting of the rich Polanco district. Pictures posted by police confirmed crime scene tape round a seating space close to the doorway to the espresso store.
Metropolis police chief Omar Garcia Harfuch wrote in his social media accounts that the sufferer had an impressive arrest warrant in Oklahoma for drug trafficking.
Harfuch mentioned the person, whose identify was not launched, was “presumably linked to organized crime within the north of the nation.”
It was the second killing this month at a Starbucks outlet in Mexico. Earlier this month, a person was shot to loss of life at one of many espresso retailers within the Caribbean coast resort of Tulum. Prosecutors there mentioned thieves tried to take the person’s watch after which opened fireplace.
