Let’s show people that we want to cooperate, let’s not waste what happened on Sunday, let’s show people that we can listen to their opinions – Włodzimierz Czarzasty, Deputy Speaker of the Sejm, co-chairman of the New Left, appealed to the other opposition leaders regarding the signing of the cooperation agreement. The head of the Left club Krzysztof Gawkowski stressed that after June 4 the opposition should go a step further towards governing in the fall.

This agreement assumes, among other things, not to attack each other during the election campaign, but to support each other, and also to sign a co-governance pact after a possible win in the autumn elections.

Krzysztof Gawkowski stressed that the opposition should go a step further after June 4 to govern in the fall and defeat PiS and Jarosław Kaczyński.

He added that all parties were united, among others, by the issue of the judiciary, reform of public media, repairing the economy and the place Poland in the European Union.

Czarzasty also emphasized that the Left was patient regarding the parliamentary pact, but announced that he would call opposition leaders on this matter. – In the event that clubs and parties do not decide, we will persuade them – he announced. “If it doesn’t happen now, we’ll come back to it after the registration of the electoral lists,” he added. – You have to mature to love – said the co-chairman of the New Left.
