It is clear that Mr Kaczyński has a huge problem, he knows perfectly well what his colleagues have been doing and he knows what the consequences will be, because many of them will spend many months in prison for what they did – said KO MEP Marcin Kierwiński in “One on One”, commenting on the words of the PiS chairman about the reasons for the increase in spending in the election year.
Bosses Ministry of Interior and AdministrationMS and MF: Tomasz Siemoniak, Adam Bodnar and Andrzej Domański signed an inter-ministerial agreement regarding the coordination of the activities of the services subordinate to them. It is to concern the securing and recovery of State Treasury property issued illegally, to the detriment of the public interest.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk assessed at a press conference that under the PiS government a “closed system” was created, i.e. a mechanism for using public funds, offices and employees in the election campaign for the benefit of the ruling party. He said that National Revenue Administration (KAS) estimated expenditure from public funds that raises doubts and requires investigation, for 100 billion zlotys.

The PiS chairman, commenting on these statements by the head of government, said that “perhaps, for example, because it was acknowledged that (…) these elections could end with us losing power and that we still need to support various institutions and that there is nothing illegal about it and nothing contrary to the public interest.”
Kierwiński: Such philosophy is nothing more than ordinary theft
The guest of “One on One” was a Member of the European Parliament, former Minister of Interior and Administration and Secretary General of the Civic Platform Marcin Kierwinski.
– It is impossible to comment on this – he said about Kaczyński's words. – It is clear that Mr. Kaczyński has a huge problem, he knows perfectly well what his colleagues did and he knows what the consequences will be, because many of them will spend many months in prison for what they did – said the guest of “One on One”.
He also said that in his opinion this is not a “game” of the PiS chairman. – Kaczyński is simply honest in this matter, he really assumes that this is how the state should function. He once divided Poles into a better and worse sort – the better sort is to receive money, is to be protected by the police, (…) and the worse is to be outside the social margin – Kierwiński said.
– Such a philosophy, when it comes to public money, is nothing more than ordinary theft, because it is robbing Poles – he added.
