Minister Marcin Kierwiński, at a conference on the results of the inspection in connection with the incident involving the police Black Hawk in Sarnowa Góra, announced that the Ministry of Interior and Administration will submit two further notifications to the prosecutor's office. One of them will concern Maciej Wąsik.

– In connection with the inspection, I would like to inform you that the Ministry of Interior and Administration will submit two further notifications to the prosecutor's office regarding the events that took place at the Police Headquarters – said the head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, Marcin Kierwiński.

As he said, one of these notifications will concern former Secretary of State at the Ministry of Interior and Administration, Maciej Wąsik. – The second one will concern the head of the human resources office, Mr. (Jarosław) Siekierski, who happened to be the spokesman for the discipline and supervised the processes of clarifying both the Black Hawk issue and the grenade launcher issue, Kierwiński said.

– On March 28, the Police Headquarters refused to send a helicopter (to Sarnowa Góra – ed.), saying that this Black Hawk would have other operational tasks. So it seems that the command did the right thing. But this decision was changed four days before the planned event, a few months after the initial refusal, on August 16 to be precise. The decision was changed, everything indicates that, for political needs – said Kierwiński.

– According to the auditors, as well as lawyers cooperating with the ministry, the matter is obvious – these actions were taken to sweep the matter under the carpet, so that those responsible for the decision-making process and for the perpetrators of these events would not suffer any consequences – Kierwiński said.

Mroczek: this shows a whole range of activities for his own election campaign

– The case involving a police helicopter at a picnic in Sarnowa Góra outraged public opinion and obviously reduced the credibility of the police, because the police helicopter, through its maneuvers during the picnic, led to the severing of a power line and posed a threat to the health and life of people staying there, so we are not only dealing here with the issue of improper use, not for the needs of state security, but for the purposes of our own political benefits, but at the same time we are dealing with an incredible thing that the police are causing a threat to people's health and life – said Czesław Mroczek, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Interior and Administration.

– The picnic took place in the constituency where Minister Maciej Wąsik was a candidate for MP. This example shows a whole range of activities of representatives of the then government camp, who involved the resources and tools of the Polish state in their own election campaign in order to gain their own benefits from obtaining parliamentary seats – added the Secretary of State.

– Representatives of the Ministry of Interior and Administration responsible for maintaining public order in the country blatantly violated this order themselves – he said.
