He admitted that the fact that Romanowski applied for asylum was a surprise to him.

He said that “there were a number of events that led to very serious doubts, or even certainty, that this process would be a political process.”
When asked whether if he himself stands before a prosecutor, or perhaps a court, he will also go to Hungary because he is convinced that there is no fair trial for a PiS politician in Poland, he replied that “these are very individual decisions.” He added that he didn't know how he would react. – I did not say that there is no chance for a fair trial in Poland today – said Dworczyk.
