Marek Suski from PiS came to the parliamentary podium on Tuesday and accused Marshal Szymon Hołownia of “embarrassing” the debate on the draft resolution on public media. – I remember these debates after fifteen seconds. You should be ashamed of yourself, you should apologize and not come to the podium with such unreasonable conclusions – Mirosław Suchoń from Poland 2050 replied to him.

On Tuesday, during the Sejm session, after the second reading of the draft resolution on public media, Marek Suski with a formal application.

– I am submitting a motion to change the manner of conducting the meeting. Mr. Marshal (Szymon Hołownia – ed.) at the Convention (Seniors – ed.) said that it would not be possible to ask questions in the debate on this point in the second reading, and at the same time I heard the Marshal talking about openness, discussion, the possibility of asking questions, that it won’t be embarrassing, Suski said.

As he argued, the lack of questions “results from the Marshal’s decision.” – At the presidium meeting, you made a foolish decision without our participation – he said. He also accused Hołownia of having “escaped” from the room. – Apparently you don’t like this debate very much and you are afraid to ask questions – he said. Shortly earlier on Tuesday, during the first reading, MPs asked questions on this matter.

Monika Wielichowska, the deputy speaker of the Sejm from KO, responded to Suski. – First of all, Marshal Hołownia did not run away anywhere. The proceedings are now chaired by Deputy Marshal Monika Wielichowska. Secondly, I am using Article 182 (of the Rules of Procedure of the Sejm – ed.), according to which the marshal presiding over the proceedings may – but does not have to – allow questions. I am using my right, she explained.

“You should apologize and not come with such unreasonable conclusions.”

Later, Mirosław Suchoń from Poland 2050 entered the podium. – The longer Mr. Suski stood here, the more lies poured out from this podium. Every time you speak, you lie, he said to Suski.

– Mr. Marshal Hołownia democratized the parliamentary debate and you know it well – he added. – I remember these debates after fifteen seconds. You should be ashamed of yourself, you should apologize and not come to the podium with such unreasonable conclusions – said Suchoń.
