PiS MP Marek Suski once again referred to his statement about the “Brussels occupation” in the context of relations with the European Union. In Brussels, he said, “they demand that we recognize the supremacy of European law over Polish law.” – And if not, we will be punished. If Poland does not fall to its knees and become a certain land, we will be punished – he said. “I used harsh words to tell Brussels that we are not subhuman,” he added.
Marek Suski On Thursday, he compared Poland’s struggle with aggressors during World War II to the current relations with the European Union. – We will fight the Brussels occupier – said the Law and Justice MP. Then he repeated these words at a session of the parliamentary committee.
Suski: they want us to give up our sovereignty
Suski referred to his statement on Tuesday morning in RMF FM.
When asked how he would explain the words about the “Brussels occupation”, he replied that he did not claim that the European Union was the same as the occupiers during World War II, but that “certain elements emerged, such as before World War II”.
– Now they demand that we should recognize the superiority of European law over Polish law. If not, we will be punished. If Poland does not fall to its knees and become a certain land, we will be punished – he said. – We are to relinquish our sovereignty. Because what is the recognition of the superiority of European law over Polish law? This is relinquishing sovereignty. This has to be opposed – continued the PiS MP.
– I used harsh words to tell Brussels that we are not subhuman. We must defend ourselves against this. Such treatment must not be allowed. I am in favor of being in the European Union on a partnership basis – said Marek Suski.
