In the opinion of the Communication Department of KGHM Polska Miedź, “certain questions concern information which, pursuant to Article 11(2) of the Act of 16 April 1993 on Combating Unfair Competition, constitutes the Company’s business secret”.

It was added that “in the case of KGHM Polska Miedź SA, trade secrets cover, among others, information on employment conditions, employee remuneration or recruitment procedures for vacant positions in the company. This information is of significant economic value for the Company, as it concerns the basic aspects of Company of Operations”.

It was explained that “for this reason, the Company takes appropriate organizational and legal steps to protect this information against access by third parties, in particular, it applies clauses requiring confidentiality of information related to concluded contracts, agreements or internal procedures”.
