Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz, MP from the Civic Coalition, spoke about the situation surrounding the president of the Supreme Audit Office, Marian Banas, and the motion to waive his immunity in “Faktach po Faktach”. – At the moment, Marian Banaś is revealing, step by step, the truth about the PiS rule, which is why he is so hated in PiS and that is why they are doing everything to recall him – he assessed. He added that the actions of the ruling party towards the head of the Supreme Audit Office “are actually such mafia scores”.
Member of the Civic Coalition Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz (Platforma Obywatelska), former Minister of the Interior, spoke in “Faktach po Faktach” on TVN24 about the situation around the president of the Supreme Audit Office, Marian Banas.
The son of the head of the Supreme Audit Office, Jakub Banaś, and the director of the Kraków Chamber of Tax Administration, Tadeusz G., were arrested last week by the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau in connection with an investigation, which in the initial stage concerned the submission of false property declarations by Marian. Both detainees and the wife of Jakub Banas heard the charges. Moreover, on the day Banaś junior was arrested, the prosecutor general Zbigniew Ziobro asked the Marshal of the Sejm for permission to prosecute Marian Banaś.
According to Sienkiewicz, PiS is throwing war on Marian Banas. – Hits his family, suddenly there are charges against his son. These are actually such mafia settlements – he assessed.

– The head of the Supreme Audit Office, with the help of controllers who cut their teeth on these inspections for several dozen years, is now showing how the government is cheating Poles, how it hides budget money outside the budget – said the TVN24 guest. Sienkiewicz also talked about how his political environment would behave during a possible vote in the Sejm on the motion to waive the immunity of the head of the Supreme Audit Office. For this to happen, an absolute statutory number of votes (231) is needed. – If this vote takes place, we will definitely be against, because we are not here to help PiS in its troubles – testified the MP from the Civic Coalition.
