The statement by Marine Le Pen, the leader of the French National Union about Ukraine and her participation in the meeting of the leaders of European conservative and right-wing parties, was commented in “Kropka nad i” by MP from the Civic Coalition Paweł Kowal and advisor to the president Andrzej Zybertowicz. – The fact that the leading ruling party is entering into an alliance with it today is acting against the Polish raison d’etat – assessed Kowal.

Marine Le Pen, leader of the French National Union and a candidate in the presidential election in France said in an interview for Rzeczpospolita that she did not think that Russian President Vladimir Putin would decide to enter Ukraine. At the same time, she stated that Poland’s eastern neighbor “belongs to the sphere of influence” of Moscow.

Last weekend Le Pen visited Warsaw, where it was held meeting of the leaders of European conservative and right-wing parties under the name of Warsaw Summit. Jarosław Kaczyński was the initiator of the talks.

Paweł Kowal, a member of the Civic Coalition, assessed in “Kopka nad i” on TVN24 that “today the leading ruling party is entering into an alliance with it, it is acting against the Polish raison d’etat”. – I also say this, I will use it for the first time of my own free will, as a man who collaborated with Lech Kaczyński as one of the creators of contemporary eastern policy – it is absolutely unthinkable on the basis of the Polish tradition of independence, which dates back to the time of the battle Polish-Bolshevik to treat Polish foreign policy in this way – he said.

“The silence of most politicians today was simply a disgrace,” he assessed.

– What did Mrs. Le Pen say? That Ukraine remains in Russia’s sphere of influence. What is Mr. (Emmanuel) Macron saying? And what is Ms (Angela) Merkel’s policy? I wonder how such a well-read man may not know that what Mrs. Le Pen said in public is a silent, but consistently applied policy of the mainstream of the Union – said Andrzej Zybertowicz, advisor to the president.

The blacksmith said that “today decent people in the power camp are ashamed that Le Pen was taken two days ago as the queen in Warsaw”. – They are ashamed of the fact that people died so that we would not think about the sphere of influence that way. We don’t want a new Soviet Union here, and we don’t want Mrs. Le Pen to give us a new Soviet Union on our eastern border. We have to stop with it – he added.

Kowal: are we with those who are in NATO and the European Union, or with those who want to destroy the West?

Zybertowicz reiterated that “what Marine Le Pen said aloud in an interview for Rzeczpospolita is a practical, everyday policy for years of the EU mainstream”. – Germany and other EU countries refuse to arm Ukraine. It is Germany that conducts talks on Ukraine with Russia in a format that in fact respects the thesis expressed by Ms Le Pen, he added.

Kowal noted that “Le Pen took money from Moscow, she knows exactly what Putin’s policy is, she knows him very well and her statements favor Putin’s domination in our part of Europe”. – I am surprised that during today’s program professor Andrzej Zybertowicz included what I call “anti-German fiksum dyrdum”, that is, everything in the Polish debate can be answered with “tomato”, i.e. Germany this and Germany that. Only somewhere there is a time of seriousness in politics, serious analysis, and somewhere is the time to answer the question: are we with those who are in NATO and those who are in the European Union, or with those who want to destroy the West – he said.

Zybertowicz said that “Putin is influential in the EU, not under the influence of opposition politicians and often marginal parties like those who came to the Warsaw Summit”. – He is influential in the EU, because many Austrian, French, German and Scandinavian politicians are his open or hidden agents of influence – he added.
