– By the end of next year, the Patriots will be delivered to our country, there will also be trained soldiers for service. Everything is according to plan – Mariusz Błaszczak assured. The head of the Ministry of National Defense is on a visit to the USA, on Thursday he visited the Fort Sill military base in Oklahoma, where Polish soldiers are training.
– American soldiers give our soldiers unique experiences here. Our ambition is to connect these various defense systems into one network – so that the army has a full situational overview, so that it can respond adequately to the needs, said Mariusz Błaszczak. – These are unique experiences that are passed on to Polish soldiers, which makes the Polish army ready to defend the Republic of Poland and serve this modern equipment – added the head of the Ministry of National Defense.
Patriots for Poland. “Fantastic” training conditions
Błaszczak emphasized that the training conditions for Polish soldiers are “fantastic”. – Fort Sill is a kind of city, full of a city that lives. It is an artillery training center in the United States, so our soldiers benefit from the best conditions to improve their skills, said Błaszczak. He emphasized that Polish soldiers in the US establish contacts not only with Americans, but also with soldiers from other allied forces. – All that our soldiers learn at Fort Sill builds the interoperability and cooperation of Polish soldiers with American and NATO soldiers in general – he added.
The head of the Ministry of National Defense also emphasized that he would meet the producers Abrams tankswhich the Polish army is to buy from the USA. He expressed his hope that the first Abrams will be delivered to Poland next year
