A person has been arrested on suspicion of murdering his spouse at their Yorkshire residence after police discovered him in Scotland.

Mark Barrott, 54, from Leeds, was detained at 4:30am by Police Scotland within the Elgin space.

He was arrested on suspicion of the homicide of 50-year-old nurse Eileen Barrott, who was discovered {dead} on the couple’s residence in Naburn Fold, Whinmoor, on Sunday.
