An electric delivery van caught fire in a parking lot in Marki near Warsaw. As our reporter has determined, this is not the first time this vehicle has caught fire. A week ago, the delivery van caught fire while being pulled onto a flatbed trailer.
An electrician's delivery van caught fire on Piłsudskiego Street. The fire department received a report of the incident on Saturday at 9:37.
– The car had an accident some time ago, it was parked in a parking lot. The fire started underneath, it did not burn out completely. The fire did not pose a threat to nearby vehicles or buildings. It has already been extinguished. The firefighters' actions are focused on cooling the car's fuel cell – informed junior captain Jan Sobków from the fire department in Wołomin.
Three fire brigades are working on site.
Second fire in the same car
As Artur Węgrzynowicz, a reporter for tvnwarszawa.pl, found out, the delivery van arrived at the parking lot as damaged, after a collision that took place a week ago in Żyrardów.
– Then the driver hit the barriers. While pulling an electric delivery van onto a tow truck, it caught fire. Less than a week later, the damaged vehicle started burning again, but in the parking lot, the reporter learned.
