Maryland fugitives, 2 kids discovered {dead} in SUV in obvious murder-suicide after manhunt

Following a manhunt, a Maryland man accused of kidnapping his daughters was discovered {dead} Thursday inside an SUV alongside along with his alleged confederate and his two daughters in an obvious murder-suicide. 

Robert Vicosa, 41, Tia Bynum, 35, and his two kids, Aaminah, 6, and Giana, 7, all died from gunshot wounds, Maryland State Police mentioned in a launch.

Vicosa was a former Baltimore County police officer and Bynum was a present Baltimore County police sergeant, FOX 5 in Washington, D.C. reported.

The 2 had been wished in a Pennsylvania crime spree, FOX 5 reported. 

Pennsylvania State Police tried to cease the SUV, which matched the suspect automobile description, Thursday afternoon, however the driver went throughout the state line into Maryland, putting a culvert, skidding off the street and coming to a cease in a grassy space in Washington County.

“Our disaster negotiation workforce made a number of makes an attempt to contact the occupants of the automobile,” Elena Russo, spokeswoman for Maryland State Police, instructed reporters. “After receiving no response and low visibility contained in the automobile due to a thick layer of smoke that was contained within the inside of the automobile, police made entry into the passenger aspect.”

Maryland troopers discovered all 4 unresponsive within the SUV, Bynum within the driver’s seat and the opposite three within the again. 

Bynum, Vicosa and one of many kids had been pronounced {dead} on the scene. The opposite baby was pronounced {dead} at a hospital. It wasn’t clear who shot the kids.

Vicosa was accused of kidnapping his daughters after sexually assaulting his ex-wife in  York County, Pennsylvania, in response to FOX 5.
