Last weekend turned out to be tragic on Masovian roads. In cases, two people were killed and 24 were injured. As the police emphasize, the main causes of events remain unchanged: excessive speed, priority failure and incorrect overtaking.
On Friday, May 23, at 7:40. Policemen from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Sochaczew received information about the accident on national road No. 50 in Jeżówka, in which two passenger cars participated. A 18-year-old resident of the Sochaczew poviat, driving a Peugeot vehicle, most likely did not give way to the journey and led to a collision with Nissan. The 18-year-old was transported to the hospital, where she unfortunately died. The Nissan driver did not require medical assistance.
Officers worked under the supervision of the District Prosecutor's Office in Sochaczew, performing the necessary procedural activities. Traffic on national road No. 50 was blocked for several hours.

On the same day in Gostynin, around 11:00, a Toyota and Renault truck collided. “Preliminary findings show that the 65 -year -old Toyota driver probably did not give way to the journey. As a result of the incident, she was transported to the hospital in a serious condition, but despite the efforts of the doctors of her life could not be saved,” the police said in a communication.
An accident over a poor distance
On Saturday, May 24, on national road No. 62 in Cananów, located in the Płock poviat, a bus and three passenger cars collided.
“Policemen initially determined that the 37-year-old driver of the coach did not retain a safe distance from the preceding vehicle and hit the back of the Opel, which was driven by the 23-year-old. As a result of the collision of vehicles, the driver of the Opel hit the 66-year-old driver of Renault, who rode in the opposite direction. As a result of the injuries suffered, the Renault driver and his 67-year-old passenger went to the hospital. This is another serious event on Płock roads recently.

In the Przysuski poviat, two passenger vehicles collided on Friday. “The 56 -year -old driver of Fiat lost control of the vehicle, as a result of which a collision with Renault took place,” described the Masovian police.
