Internet user Damian C. published a video online showing a crazy rally at speeds of up to 240 km/h. The police are determining whether he was behind the wheel. The rally started in Matczyn (Lubelskie). The driver was driving in the evening through a built-up area, in places where there is a kindergarten or school.

– We have recently expanded our activities to include prosecuting people who drastically violate road safety. Therefore, we submitted two notifications to the prosecutor's office about the possibility of committing a crime – says RafaÅ‚ GaweÅ‚ from the Center for Monitoring Racist and Xenophobic Behavior.

This is a film published on the X platform, among others: by Road Bandits – a group condemning the actions of road pirates. The recording shows the dashboard of a BMW car with a speed of up to 240 kilometers per hour. In a built-up area.

Rafał Gaweł: he was driving through pedestrian crossings next to a kindergarten or school

Road Bandits inform that the video was originally uploaded on January 22 at around 20 on social media by Internet user Damian C., who published a report from the journey starting in the town of Matczyn in the Lublin poviat.

– The car drives through places where there is, for example, a pedestrian crossing next to a kindergarten or school.

There are reports to the prosecutor's office. Also about the threats

He adds that notifications to the prosecutor's office concern, among others, the crime of attempting to cause a disaster in land traffic and – somewhat unusually – praising a prohibited act.

– We decided that since he published the materials on social media, it was clear that he approved them – says RafaÅ‚ GaweÅ‚.

He adds that after publishing information about Damian C. on the center's profile, he contacted the center and threatened, among other things, to send a tax audit.

– He said he would destroy us in this way and more. So we notified the prosecutor's office that he was making criminal threats towards us, says GaweÅ‚.

The Road Bandits group reported that Damian C. offered to pay for the removal of the video from the group's profile.
