Mateusz Morawiecki is a disgusting, gross liar – said New Left MP Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus in “Kropka nad i”, referring to the Prime Minister’s Saturday statement about the “women’s hell” that “illegal immigration” may create. Joanna Mucha (Poland 2050) described these words as “absolutely stupid”.

At Saturday’s election meeting in Katowice, the Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki he spoke of a “women’s hell” that “illegal immigration” would lead to. – They want to bring you hell. Women’s hell, through illegal emigration. Who mainly comes here, who storms the borders – these are usually young Muslim immigrants, uprooted from their communities. Those who are used to a completely different culture, to a completely different social environment, to violence, very often to violence against women – said Morawiecki.

This issue was addressed in Monday’s edition of “Kropka nad i” by MP Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus (New Left) and Joanna Mucha (Poland 2050).

Scheuring-Wielgus: he is the main culprit of women’s hell in Poland

– Morawiecki is a disgusting, gross liar. First of all, he is trying to convince people that we, in the opposition, want to open borders and invite everyone we can. Nobody on the opposition side is talking about opening the borders and taking in all the people who come to Poland, said Scheuring-Wielgus.

– He treats people of different faiths in a disgusting way. I have no words to comment on this, continued the MP from the New Left.

– And the third thing is that Morawiecki is trying to convince people that we are responsible for women’s hell. He is the main culprit of women’s hell in Poland. He and the entire Law and Justice gang, headed by Kaczyński. Let me remind you that this is it Law and Justice together with the Confederation, it signed the judgment of the Constitutional Tribunal of Julia Przyłębska – she added.

Mucha: the prime minister’s utterly stupid statement

Joanna Mucha said that the prime minister’s statement was “absolutely stupid”. – We know perfectly well what happened in Poland after the judgment of the Constitutional Tribunal, how Polish women reacted to it and what social change it brought. We cannot forget that this is a huge social change that has taken place before our eyes, she emphasized.

– Polish women are in a completely different place than they were eight years ago. Young Polish women spoke out in an absolutely unambiguous way against PiS, against this government. There remain many problems of Polish women that are unresolved – not only those related to procreation – she added.

In this context, Mucha was asked whether she felt any discomfort due to the presence of Artur Dziambor – a former Confederation MP who signed the application to the Constitutional Tribunal to tighten the abortion law – on the Third Way’s lists for the Sejm.

– I even talked to Artur Dziambor about this today. He claims that at that time it was the first session of the Sejm when signatures for this motion were collected. As he said, there was party discipline, so he had to sign it – said the Polish 2050 MP.

As she noted, “of course these are not things that satisfy me.” – He didn’t convince me. However, after the conversation, I can say it unequivocally: he is a supporter of returning to what we do not like, i.e. the so-called abortion compromise, but he is not a person who supports the current state of affairs – added Mucha.

– I wouldn’t vote for Artur Dziambor. There (on the Third Way list in the Gdynia district – ed.) we have Wioleta Tomczak in third place, who is a public health specialist and a phenomenal candidate. She will definitely meet the expectations of communities like us, women who are looking for a good representative in the Sejm – argued the TVN24 guest.

Scheuring-Wielgus: Ziobro is trying to make idiots out of women

Scheuring-Wielgus, in turn, referred to the candidacy of Jana Shostak, who will run for the Sejm from the Poznań list of the Left in 11th place.

Originally, Shostak was supposed to run from the 13th place on the Civic Coalition’s list in constituency no. 24 (Podlaskie Voivodeship), on the recommendation of the Greens, but she was removed from the list due to an interview in which she stated that she was “with the permission of choice every woman.” When asked if she was in favor of abortion throughout pregnancy, she confirmed, adding that she was a “modern-day suffragist.”

– I do not think that Mrs. Jana Shostak said anything bad, because we on the Left say clearly: a woman has the right to decide whether to have an abortion or not. And you won’t find people on our list who would have a different opinion – said the MP from the New Left in “Kropka nad i”.

– And Jana Shostak fits the Left because she talks about a woman’s decision. However, what he tries to make out of her words, for example Zbigniew Ziobrobecause he caused this whole scandal, he is trying to make women, all of us, simply idiots, because we cannot make decisions on our own – added Scheuring-Wielgus.
