All parties that will soon form a real coalition and a real government will not take part in these so-called talks – said Michał Kobosko (Polska 2050, Third Road) in “Kropka nad i”, responding to the invitation addressed to parliamentary clubs by Mateusz Morawiecki. – There is still quite a lot of time until Monday – said Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk (PiS), Minister for European Union Affairs.

Mateusz Morawiecki invites representatives of parliamentary clubs to the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and wants to talk there about “building the Coalition of Polish Affairs”. However, they declare that they are not willing to meet the Prime Minister. – This is a meeting about the cheated coalition. As the Left, we are not going anywhere, assured Krzysztof Gawkowski. Spokesman PSL Miłosz Motyka said that the People’s Party would not go on a “date with a praying mantis”. Sławomir Mentzen from Konfederacja said that there was “nothing to talk about” with Morawiecki.

In “Kropka nad i” on TVN24, Michał Kobosko (Polska 2050, Trzecia Droga) was asked whether he would meet Mateusz Morawiecki. – No, I’m not going, he replied. – It is actually surprising when the Prime Minister, who is generally quite a busy person in every country and I think especially in Poland, gives such, excuse the word, “time slots” that he sits, I mean, still, waiting for guests who will not come – he added.

– We said that we do not intend to participate in these pretend talks about forming a government by Prime Minister Morawiecki, and it seems that all other parties that will soon form a real coalition and a real government will not take part in these so-called talks – said Kobosko.

Szynkowski vel Sęk: there is still a lot of time until Monday

Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk, Minister for the European Union, was asked about his potential participation in the government formed by Mateusz Morawiecki. – I had the opportunity to talk to the Prime Minister about our cooperation in the coming days and weeks, but it is the Prime Minister who will decide to inform about the nature of this cooperation – he said. He added that “the Prime Minister has until Monday to form a government, in accordance with the constitution.”

The minister also referred to Michał Koboska’s words about Morawiecki’s “still waiting for guests”. – The Prime Minister will not sit and wait, but it is a rule in this type of invitations that, out of respect for the invited people, certain possibilities and time options are presented. However, if there is no confirmation, then of course the Prime Minister is engaged in other duties and does not sit and wait, he said.

– It can be considered whether the Prime Minister could first devote himself to individual talks or issue such invitations. The Prime Minister made this decision and no other, he has a certain rhythm of these consultations, these negotiations, and this is the rhythm he has adopted. There is still quite a lot of time until Monday, said Szynkowski aka Sęk.

“If this is a model for you, then you should also pass on your property”

The Civic Coalition submitted a draft amendment to the restriction act to the Sejm running a business by persons performing public functions. It assumes disclosure of separate assets of spouses of representatives of state and local government authorities. “This proposal to change the regulations will make it impossible to build or deepen political and business arrangements,” it was written in the justification.

Michał Kobosko commented on the project. – It all really started with Prime Minister Morawiecki. There would be no discussions, there would be no case, if it were not for various types of – let’s call it – transactions, financial operations, transfer of property, made by the richest Polish politician, banker, who is and was Mateusz Morawiecki – he said.

– That’s where it started. This is one of the matters that needs to be sorted out and what needs to be disclosed, he added.

Szynkowski vel Sęk replied to the Polish 2050 MP. – This is truly wicked – he said, adding that “the man who left big money for Poland” is accused by “the man who left Poland for big money, i.e. Donald Tusk.” – For me this combination is clear. That’s why I cooperate with, among others, Mateusz Morawiecki, because he is a man who left his career and money to serve Poland – he said.

– If this is an example for you, then you should also transfer the property – mocked Minister Kobosko’s words. – Correct. Leave a career and a lot of money to serve your country – repeated Szynkowski aka Sęk.
