The clash with reality for politicians of this United Right in name only is extremely painful – said Aleksandra Gajewska from the Civic Coalition in “Kropka nad i” on TVN24, referring to the actions of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, who headed the government without a majority. – There really is no way to reverse the fate of these elections – added Anna Maria Żukowska from the Left Club.

The interlocutors of “Kropka nad i” on TVN24 – Aleksandra Gajewska from the Civic Coalition club and Anna Maria Żukowska from Nowa Lewica (Left club) – discussed recent activities Mateusz Morawieckiwho on Monday became the head of a government that has no chance of receiving the support of the parliamentary majority.

Gajewska: this is another great myth that Jarosław Kaczyński needs

– It seems to me that Prime Minister Morawiecki still does not realize that this will no longer help. There really is no way to reverse the fate of these people elections. I think it’s a kind of waking up, about two weeks of honeymoon, to console ourselves that “we have influence on the authorities,” Żukowska said.

Aleksandra Gajewska stated that the actions the Prime Minister is currently undertaking are building “another myth that Jarosław Kaczyński needs.” – Jaroslaw Kaczynski repeats like a mantra: “we won these elections,” she added.

– This is another great myth that Jarosław Kaczyński needs to continue his political activity. He has relied on such activity in the past. But this myth has been busted. The united opposition won these elections in the entire parliament. And this clash with reality is extremely painful for politicians of the United Right in name only, she said.

“Theater, chutzpah, exploitation of women”

The MPs also talked about the presence of women in Morawiecki’s two-week government and the president’s words Andrzej Dudawho said during Monday’s swearing-in ceremony of this government that he was glad that there was a “huge representation of women” in it.

– I am against using and manipulating public opinion and putting women in prominent positions only when they will be able to perform any function for another 11 days and have no influence on reality – said Gajewska. She added that “this is theater, this is chutzpah, this is exploitation of women.”

– I understand that these ladies who want to prove their determination and loyalty in their political environment have agreed to hold these positions. Other serious politicians disagreed. Let us remind you that the Prime Minister is no longer the Prime Minister for Security (Deputy Prime Minister – ed.) Jarosław Kaczyński. Somehow I don’t see him in this government, said Żukowska.

“This committee did not interview a single person”

The parliamentarians also commented on the dismissal by the Sejm on Wednesday evening members of the commission investigating Russian influence, known as “lex Tusk”.

– This commission did not hear a single person. Her works are not even known. The only thing that can be said is that they watched the series “Reset”, which is very interesting for this community, and they get all their knowledge from this series – argued Anna Maria Żukowska. In her opinion, “this commission should not continue to function.”

Aleksandra Gajewska assessed that this commission “was established for political reasons and on political orders.” – We talked about it from the beginning. It was ordered precisely to slander Donald Tusk. It was quickly hailed as “lex Tusk”. It was clearly stated who they were to hunt during these operations. Appropriate people were appointed to act on this order, the KO MP continued.

Asked whether she thought the commission should be liquidated, she replied that her political environment believed it was “worth taking a closer look” at Russian influence in PiS activities. She added that she was “not convinced” whether this activity should be looked at through the existing commission. – However, we believe that this is too serious an issue to treat it the way he did Law and Justice – she added.

Morawiecki’s words are “truly astonishing”

Gajewska and Żukowska also referred to the words of Prime Minister Morawiecki, who convinced journalists in the Sejm that he had always supported the in vitro method. On Wednesday, the Sejm adopted an amendment to the act on financing this procedure from the state budget.

Morawiecki: I have always opted for in vitro

– You may be surprised that someone who was responsible for the government for so many years had all the possibilities, all the tools to ensure that this program was reimbursed in every city, in every commune, in every part of Poland, today it suddenly comes out. and says that he has always been a sincere supporter of it being this way – said the KO MP.

Żukowska said that Morawiecki’s words were “truly astonishing.” – Because even Prime Minister Morawiecki is rarely able to lie like that, completely denying the facts – commented a representative of the Left.
