Matthew Perry‘s household has issued an announcement to his followers following his sudden loss of life.
The Associates star died of an apparent drowning at his Los Angeles dwelling Oct. 28, his rep and legislation enforcement sources informed NBC News. He was 54.
“We’re heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother,” his household stated in an announcement to People Oct 29. “Matthew introduced a lot pleasure to the world, each as an actor and a pal.”
The assertion continued, “You all meant a lot to him and we respect the great outpouring of affection.”
Matthew is survived by his father, actor John Bennett Perry, his mom, journalist Suzanne Morrison, his stepfather, Dateline correspondent Keith Morrison, and 5 siblings—Caitlin Morrison, Emily Morrison, Will Morrison, Madeline Morrison and Maria Perry.
Lower than two weeks earlier than his loss of life, the actor shared a photograph of himself along with his dad on Instagram, writing, “Right here is me, and my father John, each holding a beverage.”
