The Central Examination Commission announced the dates of exams in the school year 2021/2022. The final exams will start on May 4, the main session will last until May 23. The eighth grade exam will be held on May 24-26.

According to the announcement by the director of the Central Examination Commission, Marcin Smolik The eighth-grade exam in the school year 2021/2022 will be held on May 24-26: May 24 – there will be an exam in Polish, May 25 – in mathematics, May 26 – in a modern foreign language.

Eighth graders who will not be able to take the exams in May due to health or random reasons, will be able to do so in the additional period, which is scheduled for June 13-15.

The results of the exam – whether taken in May or in June – will be known to students on July 1, and they will receive certificates of results on July 8, 2022.

Matura exam in the school year 2021/2022 – deadline

Matura exams in the school year 2021/2022 in the main session will be conducted on May 4-23. Written exams will start at 9.00 and 14.00.

May 4: Polish language exam at the basic level (in the morning), exam in Latin and ancient culture (in the afternoon).
5 May: Elementary math exam (morning), music history exam (afternoon).
May 6: English language exam at the basic level (in the morning), exams in German, Russian, French, Spanish and Italian at the basic level (in the afternoon).
May 9: Advanced and Bilingual English Exam (in the morning), Philosophy exam (in the afternoon).
May 10: Polish language exam at the advanced level (in the morning), French exam at the advanced and bilingual levels (in the afternoon).
May 11: Advanced level math exam (morning), advanced and bilingual Spanish exam (afternoon).
May 12: Biology exam (in the morning), Russian exam at advanced and bilingual levels (in the afternoon).
May 13: Civics exam (in the morning), German exam for advanced and bilingual levels (in the afternoon).
May 16: Chemistry exam (in the morning), Italian exam for advanced and bilingual levels (in the afternoon).
17 May: exam in history (in the morning), exam in the languages ​​of national minorities at the elementary level (in the afternoon).
May 18: exam in geography (in the morning), exam in national minority languages ​​at the advanced level (in the afternoon).
May 19: Physics exam (in the morning), Art History exam (in the afternoon).
20th of May: IT exam (in the morning), Kashubian and Lemko exam (in the afternoon).
May 23: exams in individual subjects taken in foreign languages ​​for graduates of schools or bilingual departments.

Oral examinations will not be compulsory

The main term of the oral matura exam session will be from 18 to 20 May. They will be carried out in schools according to the schedules established by the chairmen of the examination teams.

Oral examinations will not be compulsory in the 2021/2022 school year. They will be organized only for those graduates who need the result of such an exam in the recruitment procedure to a university abroad.

Matura exam results 2022 – deadline

For high school graduates who will not be able to take written exams on the main date due to health or random reasons, the date of the additional session is set – June 1-15. The additional oral exams are to be held on 14–15 June.

The CKE exam results will be announced on July 5. On that day, high school graduates will receive their secondary school-leaving certificates.

Retake exams will be held on August 23 and these will be written exams only. The results of the retake exams will be known to the high school graduates on September 9.
