Until June 13, applications can be sent to this year's edition of the prestigious award – Medal of Freedom of Speech 2025. The awards will be awarded on August 29 during a gala in GdaĆsk.
The medal can be honored with people in a special way deserved for freedom of speech, the authors and authors of the most valuable speeches that could affect the awareness of Poles, as well as persons and institutions actively acting for civil rights, in particular the right to freedom of expression.
Applications can be sent by the party medal.fundacgrandpress.pl down June 13, 2025. Candidates can be nominated by adult Polish citizens, non -governmental organizations, foundations and associations as well as media editors.
The winners will be announced on August 29 during a gala at the European Solidarity Center in GdaĆsk.

Among the winners of the Medal of Freedom of Speech were, among others, Andrzej Poczobut, Piotr JacoĆ, Piotr Ćwierczek, Karolina Lewicka (media category), Adam Bodnar, Igor Tuleya, Ewa ĆÄtowska I Pro Loquel Silesian (institution), as well as Anja Rubik, Jerzy and Lidia Owsiak, Agnieszka Jankowiak-Maik and Katarzyna Wappa (citizen category).
