What happened? “The Court of the Principality of Liechtenstein has established an independent curatorwhich gained a decisive say in the matters of two foundations through which Solorz controls his assets in Poland” – I'm writing Onet. We are talking about the TIVI and SOLKOMTEL foundations. By the court's decision, Solorz lost the right to appoint their members, issue orders and approve resolutions. This means de facto preventing the disinheritance of his children.
The court decided: According to the court's decision, key decisions are to be made by the probation officer. It was an official from Liechtenstein. The District Court of Limassol also made an important decision. He issued security measures against Solorz's foundations and Cypriot companies, as well as the billionaire himself. “He can't make decisions affecting the ownership and management structure of the series Polish companies from the Polsat Group,” writes Onet.
Two scenarios: Theoretically Zygmunt Solorz he has two ways out of this situation. The first is a compromise, but considering that he hasn't seen him for several months childrenit seems unlikely. The second is the court battle, which, including appeals, may take up to three years. The next court hearing in Liechtenstein will take place in February. Onet emphasizes that “to this is not the end of the property war“.
Succession conflict: The succession confusion began in August 2024. Then, on August 2, Zygmunt Solorz submitted notarial statements in which he handed over the management of the foundations to his children: Tobias Solorz and Aleksandra and Piotr Żak. A day later, he told them that he wanted to withdraw from this decision. Since then, the billionaire has been trying to do so block the transfer of property to children and the exchange of power in the mentioned foundations.
Read also a text in which we asked Marek Zuber, an economist associated with the WSB Academy, interviewed by Dominik MoliÅ„ski, about the Solorz empire: Zygmunt Solorz expels children from companies. “This may sound brutal”.
