“Blessed to enter the Joyful New Era of bb,” Louisa Jacobson said on Instagram on June 22, adding a burning heart and rainbow flag emoji at the end of her sentence. The actress attached six photos to the entry – in the first one she is posing with producer Anna Blundell. The second photo is a screenshot of a recent New York Times article titled “We Are Entering a Joyful New Era of Lesbian Fashion.” In the next photos we see the actress herself.

Jacobson's fans noticed in the comments below the new post that the actress published the photos on Instagram on the 75th birthday of her mother, Meryl Streep. According to Page Six and the New York Post, Jacobson's entry initially contained several other photos, including a photo of Sappho, a Greek poet from whose place of residence (the island of Lesbos) the term lesbian comes from.
