Mexico and Chile ask Worldwide Prison Courtroom to research potential crimes in Gaza

MEXICO CITY — Mexico and Chile have requested the Worldwide Prison Courtroom to research potential crimes towards civilians in Gaza and the Oct. 7 Hamas assault in Israel.

Mexico’s Overseas Relations Division mentioned in a press release that it filed the request “due to a rising concern concerning the latest escalation in violence, particularly towards civilians.”

There have been widespread claims of breaches of worldwide legislation by Hamas and Israeli forces since conflict erupted.
