The media emphasize that the transfer of gangsters coincided with a visit to Washington, the head of the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Juan Ramon de la Fuente. His conversations in the US Department of State concerned bilateral trade relations and cooperation in the field of security.

The Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the meeting was fruitful, and both sides agreed with joint activities against organized crime.
