At the beginning of January, a serious accident occurred in Michałów (Masovian Voivodeship). The passenger car drove off the road and ended up in a ditch. Three people traveling in it were taken to hospital. According to the services’ findings, all three were under the influence of alcohol. The police still don’t know who was driving.

The District Police Headquarters in Mińsk Mazowiecki is investigating the case of the accident on January 8, 2024 in Michałów.

– Activities are currently underway to determine the exact course of the event and the seats occupied in the car by the participants. No one has been charged in this case yet – Staff Sergeant Elżbieta Zagórska from the police in Mińsk Mazowiecki told us.

The car went into a ditch

The serious accident occurred after 1 a.m. on a straight section of provincial road number 637. Police findings show that the BMW driver lost control of the vehicle and drove into a ditch.

Zagórska then said that there were three people in the car: two men and a woman. All three were taken to hospital as a result of their injuries. – Men had more than a per mille of alcohol in their bodies, women – more than half a per mille. Activities are underway to determine who was driving the car at the time of the accident, the policewoman said.

In turn, the fire brigade reported that the driver of the car hit a concrete culvert.
