Miechow. The patient had drugs on him, the hospital called the police

Police officers from Miechów (Lesser Poland Voivodeship) were called to the emergency department of the local hospital. According to the facility, a bundle of drugs fell from the pocket of one of the patients – an extremely agitated young man – onto the hospital bed.

An unusual report was received by the officer on duty on Tuesday. “There was a man in the emergency department in Miechów who had drugs on him. The 29-year-old was very agitated and aggressive, his behavior raised suspicions that he might be under the influence of narcotic substances. The medical staff additionally noticed that a bag fell out of the man's pocket. a string bag containing a white substance,” we read in a statement from KPP Miechów.

He faces prison

When the police arrived, 29-year-old confirmed that he had taken large amounts of narcotic substances. The next day, the man was interrogated and charged with possession of narcotic drugs.

A drug test showed that the substance that fell out of the man's pocket was mephedrone. The suspect had nearly 38 grams of the drug with him. Now he faces up to three years in prison.
