A 16-year-old went missing on an unguarded beach in Międzyzdroje on Monday afternoon. The search in the water has begun. We managed to find him and pull him ashore. According to TVN24, the resuscitation took several dozen minutes. The teenager was transported to the hospital by the helicopter of the Polish Medical Air Rescue.
According to the findings of TVN24 at the Provincial Ambulance Station in Szczecin, around 6 p.m. on Monday, on an unguarded beach in Międzyzdroje (West Pomeranian Voivodeship), a child was caught from the sea. A 16-year-old boy probably spent about 30 minutes under the water.
After several dozen minutes of resuscitation, around 7 p.m., the boy’s life activities resumed – reported the representative of WSPR in Szczecin.
During the action, an LPR helicopter landed on the beach, which then transported the teenager to the hospital in Szczecin.
Recording from the rescue operation
The course of the rescue operation was recorded and shared on social media by Tomasz Krawczyk from the website community Międzyzdroje. According to his account, the entire rescue operation lasted about an hour.
He recorded how people on the beach formed a chain of life to help save a child. According to his account, the boy was supposed to find himself about 60 meters from the shore.
The video shows that an ambulance helicopter lands on the beach, which later transports the teenager to the hospital.
