The driver of a passenger car that hit a tree in Międzyzdroje has died – the spokesman for the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Szczecin, junior brigadier Tomasz Kubiak, announced on Sunday. The incident took place on the same street where three pedestrians died after being hit by a passenger car on Saturday.
Information about the accident at ul. Dąbrówka in Międzyzdroje (West Pomeranian Voivodeship) was received by firefighters on Sunday at 18.36. A passenger car hit a tree there. According to the spokesman of the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Szczecin, Junior Brigadier Tomasz Kubiak, there was one person traveling in the car who died on the spot. He is a man around 30 years old.
The driver hit pedestrians. Three people died
On Saturday three pedestrians died on the same street in Międzyzdroje, including a 7-year-old boy. A car hit them. A 12-year-old girl was injured and transported by an LPR helicopter to a hospital in Szczecin. The driver of the car fled the scene of the accident, but around 20 was already in the hands of the police. He is expected to hear the charges on Monday.
