I noted that the Belarusian regime treats refugees as a living weapon. Nevertheless, our moral duty is to help. Unfortunately, many politicians remain indifferent to this appeal. I informed the Pope. that at least 4 people have died from cold, starvation and lack of basic help and I emphasized that it is impossible to verify the exact number of deceased people due to the state of emergency in the border areas “- wrote the MP on Facebook. She added that the letter sent to “Families without Borders” includes an appeal to anyone who can influence decisions regarding the eastern border and the situation of refugees – it is an appeal for help and support for activities that will prevent the deportation of refugees to the forest and the death of more people.

Recently, “Gazeta Wyborcza” wrote that “Border Guard officers delivered over 20 people, including eight children, to the Polish-Belarusian border. The spokeswoman of the Border Guard, Sec. Anna Michalska, asked on Friday on TVN24 about what happened to the families of migrants from Michałów, replied that they had all been given food and drinks and had been returned to the border line in accordance with the ordinance of the minister of the Ministry of Interior and Administration. – None of these families, none of these adults wanted to submit an application for international protection in Poland. Everyone said that they wanted to submit these applications in Germany, this is the country of their target migration – said Michalska.

The state of emergency at the border with Belarus

From September 2, due to migratory pressure in the border zone with Belarus – in 183 localities in the voivodeship Podlasie and Lublin regions – a state of emergency is in force. It was introduced for 30 days under the ordinance of President Andrzej Duda, issued at the request of the Council of Ministers. On Thursday evening, the Seym agreed to extend the state of emergency for 60 days. On Friday (October 1), the president’s decree on this matter was published in the Journal of Laws.

On Friday alone, border guards recorded 553 attempts to illegally cross the border from Belarus to Poland. They detained eight illegal immigrants, including four Iraqi citizens, the Border Guard said on Saturday. There are currently over 1.5 thousand people in all border guard centers. illegal migrants.
