– I am not able to say what this operation looks like today, because we do not have information about it. But we know how it was planned. Its first stage was to stop detaining illegal migrants who had already headed towards the Lithuanian, Polish and Latvian border – said Romaszewska-Guzy. – Then the administration of the president (Lukashenka – ed.) Dealt with the organization of smuggling, migration tourism, encouraging people to come, and “we will help you” – she continued.

Latushka: Lukashenka wanted to cause a crisis

Paweł Latuszka said in turn that the information he had from high-ranking officers of Belarusian secret services showed that a special operation was underway to take revenge on the EU for the sanctions imposed on this country.

He said that the operation was organized by Alyaksandr Lukashenka and was coordinated by his son Viktor. – The transfer of potential illegal migrants to the territory of Belarus was organized, and then their transfer to the border – he described. He said that “the KGB, the Ministry of the Interior of Belarus and a special unit of the Belarusian Border Guard” participated in the operation.

– The goal is achieved. In fact (Lukashenka – ed.) He wanted to cause a crisis on the EU’s borders. It is visible in Lithuania, Latvia and now on the border with Poland, he continued.

As Latushka continued, the President of Belarus, through this operation, “also wanted to cause an internal crisis in the European Union.”

Latushka: the Belarusian regime should be considered international terrorism

The guests of “Fakty po Faktach” also discussed how to stop the regime from achieving its goals and solve the migration crisis.

– If Lukashenka achieves his goals, how should the European Union and the countries concerned react? Latushka asked.

According to the Belarusian opposition activist, “Lukashenka and his regime should be considered international terrorism.” – It is the responsibility of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, as well as other European Union countries that could initiate national procedures and then pose this question in Brussels – he continued.

He enumerated that numerous actions of the Belarusian regime, such as repressions, detention of political prisoners, and even murders, were “crimes against humanity”.
