Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo slammed the Steele file, calling it “disinformation” and warning your complete Russia investigation “will probably be a stain on the FBI.” Pompeo appeared on the “Brian Kilmeade Show” on Wednesday, discrediting the idea for the file arguing it was a “creation of the Democrat institutional elite leaders.”

DEM GROUP FOUNDED TO FIGHT ‘DISINFORMATION’ PAID NEARLY $1M TO DISCREDITED STEELE DOSSIER RESEARCHERS

MIKE POMPEO: This file was largely a creation of the Democrat institutional elite leaders. We will see all of the machinations behind it with Marc Elias and the gang. We will see that is how this was constructed. The media then took the bait. I believe that we must always all be aware when the media says we now have sources, we must always all now acknowledge that if they are not ready to call sources, that is the type of danger that they create – the misinformation marketing campaign. However worst of all, was our Justice Division and our FBI failing to get this proper. Failing to take what I believe they knew that this was actually skinny sauce. This was actually weak stuff, and constructing out the Mueller Report and the investigation round what was clearly disinformation put upon them by the Democratic Get together right here. This will probably be a stain on the FBI for an awfully very long time.

The core of the Steele file says by some means our administration was in cahoots with the Russians and that President Trump was a Russian asset. That is what Congressman Schiff and the others had been foisting on America. That’s patently false, and I believe we will see the Steele file, which was the idea for these claims, was patently false.
