The probation officer intended to apply to the court for a prison sentence for a 29-year-old resident of Mikołów (Śląskie Voivodeship), because he violated the rules of supervision imposed for punishable threats. – You got angry and threatened the probation officer that if he did, he would take his gun and kill all the policemen – says a spokeswoman for the Mikołów police.
On April 19, around 1 p.m., the duty officer of the Mikołów police station received information from a probation officer about a 29-year-old man supervised by him who tried to force him not to apply to the court for imposing a prison sentence on him.
He had supervision, he violated its rules
– The man was under supervision for using criminal threats and a ban on approaching the victim. He violated the rules of this supervision, which is why the probation officer informed him that he would have supervision replaced with a ruthless prison – explains Ewa Sikora, spokeswoman for the police in Mikołów. He added: “You were upset. He said he would take his gun and kill all the cops.
The police arrived on the spot. They said the 29-year-old did not have a firearms license. They didn’t find any in his apartment. A breathalyzer test showed that the man had more than two times the legal limit in his body.
He was detained and on Thursday, after interrogation, he was charged with extortion of official activities. He already has a crime against life and health on his record. He will be brought to court on Friday. Investigators are requesting that he be placed in pre-trial detention.
