From February 12, 2024, columns of military vehicles will be moving on roads almost throughout the country in connection with military exercises codenamed STEADFAST DEFENDER-24 and DRAGON-24 – reminded the General Staff of the Polish Army.
In the first half of 2024 FOR THIS will conduct a series of exercises under the common code name STEADFAST DEFENDER-24 (STDE-24). It was emphasized that “these are defensive exercises and are not directed against any country.”
“From February 12, 2024, there will be increased traffic of military vehicles on the roads of almost the entire country, related to the STEADFAST DEFENDER-24 and DRAGON-24 exercises,” the General Staff of the Polish Army said in a statement on Sunday.

The General Staff of the Polish Army appealed to drivers “to exercise particular caution,” reminding them that “you should not drive between military vehicles traveling in a column.”
He also appealed “for data protection, non-publication of information and photos showing troop movements and their location, dates and times of military columns, data on departures and landings of military aircraft.”
90,000 soldiers from 31 NATO member countries and Sweden, which is on the accession path to the Alliance. They officially started on January 24 and will last until the end of May. Most of the activities will take place in Central European countries, including Poland.
