Million Heart March. Young people who do not yet have voting rights also took part in the demonstration

People from all over Poland participated in the Million Hearts March, which took place on the streets of Warsaw on Sunday. Young citizens who do not yet have voting rights also marched. Although they will not vote on October 15, they decided that they should take part in the demonstration called by the leader of the Civic Platform, Donald Tusk. In a conversation with a TVN24 reporter, they emphasized that they were the future of Poland and they wanted to fight for it.

TVN24 reporter Agata Adamek talked to Ola, Kaja, Frank, Krzyś, Mateusz and Kostek during the march in Warsaw. When asked why they decided to take part in the demonstration, they replied that “we have to take care of Poland.”

– We have to win this, because if we lose, if we didn’t go to this march and there were only about 10 people here, our country would have already lost and we would have to get out of here, said one of the boys.

– I believe that there should be equality throughout our country and the world. Everyone should have equal rights, said his friend.

– We are here to fight for our future, so that we can simply have better in the future – Agata Adamek heard from her interlocutors.

Million Hearts March in Warsaw

On Sunday at noon, participants of the event initiated by the PO leader gathered at the Dmowskiego roundabout in Warsaw Donald Tusk Million Heart March. The demonstrators marched through Marszałkowska and Świętokrzyska streets, John Paul II until the “Radosława” roundabout.

It was a protest against the current government and an expression of hope for the electoral victory of today’s opposition. Both Polish and EU flags were visible at the demonstration.

The march to Warsaw attracted people from all over Poland – from Pomerania to Podkarpacie. According to the capital city hall, about a million people participated in it. Similar data was provided by the leader of the Civic Platform, Donald Tusk, on social media. “Over 1,000,000 red and white hearts in Warsaw!” – he wrote on social media.
