The president of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation participated in the march Jerzy Owsiak. In “Fakty po Faktach” he said that those taking part in the march “just came, they were not brought.”

– According to our calculations, 150-200 thousand people were there from the very beginning. It’s not about determining whether it was 100,000 more or 100,000 less. Just please don’t introduce us Poles to such a narrative (that there were – ed.) 60,000, 80,000, 100,000. The whole of Poland came. People from all over the world came, he said. He also spoke about the “tremendous cordiality” of the event’s participants.

– I saw people smiling, nice, cordial, of all ages, from children, (…). We, Poles, decided to be together that day. There is no greater cordiality, he continued.

– We all came there to talk, not to get angry, but to say clearly that the system that prevails now must end. It’s false, it’s bad, it’s not good, he said.

Owsiak: you have to go to the polls

At the same time, Owsiak appealed to this “crowd” of people to vote in elections October 15.

– This crowd must be visible as in 1989. There must be so many of us that even if someone has any plans to confuse these elections, to screw something up, to put it bluntly – to cheat – they won’t do it. This is no longer a fight for those who don’t know whether they should go. We all have to be there, he emphasized.

Owsiak appealed to “first of all, go to the polls.” – To, first of all, be at the ballot boxes on October 15. Definitely don’t vote for PIS. It is completely out of the question to vote for people who have destroyed so many values. This is your choice, (…). I don’t have to tell you who to vote for now. But if these parties form a coalition, you can choose one of these three parties to vote, he added.
