Which sides of the coat of arms according to blazoning are not the same sides in the understanding of the person looking at the coat of arms? This question was answered for PLN 125,000 in TVN's “Millionaires” by Mr. Marek Wojtuń from Piaseczno.
In Tuesday's episode of TVN's “Millionaires”, Mr. Marek Wojtuń from Piaseczno played. He is a physics teacher by profession. As he admitted, he dreams of spending the winning amount on housing and travel, preferably a train journey through Canada.
Mr. Marek used the first lifeline – half and half – to ask the question for PLN 2,000. zloty. It was: “What do UFC fighters fight in?” He chose from the answers A: in a circle, B: in a hexagon, C: in a pentagon, D: in an octagon. The correct answer was D and that's what he gave.

Then, Mr. Marek did a great job answering subsequent questions, including: language issues, music and legends. He used the second lifeline only when playing for 125,000. zloty. He asked the audience for help with a question that was:

The participant admitted that the issue raised in the question was unknown to him, and the key concept here was “blazoning”. After thinking for a moment, he asked the audience for help. Most people – 56 percent – she pointed to answer C. Mr. Marek said that the audience supported his thoughts, so he decided to answer the same way. And he wasn't wrong.
Blazoning is a description of the coat of arms in accordance with the rules of heraldry. The coat of arms is described from the side of the knight holding the shield, so the right side of the coat of arms is on the left for the viewer. Therefore, the correct answer is C, i.e. “left and right”, thanks to which the player won PLN 125,000. zloty.
