“Sweet Adolf’s Loves”

In the 1930s, “Ici Paris” published a series of cartoons mocking Adolf Hitler entitled “The Loves of Sweet Adolf.” After the publication of the drawings, the German embassy acted against the author, accusing her of insulting the head of state. The court case ended with a symbolic fine and the inclusion of the cartoonist on the Nazi blacklist. In 1942, as a result of a denunciation, she was captured by the Gestapo and imprisoned in the Pawiak prison in Warsaw. In the same year, she was officially convicted of insulting Hitler and sent to the women’s camp in Ravensbrück with a death sentence. This artist was Maja Berezowska.

So the correct answer to the “Millionaires” question is C.
