Will the National Broadcasting Council react to Grzegorz Braun's anti -Semitic statements? We don't know this, but we know how the chairman of the National Broadcasting Council reacted. Maciej Świrski says that “he did not hear these statements by Braun.” On this occasion, the politicians of the ruling coalition remind you why Maciej Świrski should hear the allegations before the State Tribunal.
The prosecutor's office initiated the proceedings after Grzegorz Braun's words, which fell on Monday's presidential debate organized by “Super Express”. It is about insulting a group of Jewish population because of its national affiliation and public hatred against the background of national, ethnic and religious differences.
We asked its chairman Maciej Świrski about the position of the National Broadcasting Council regarding the anti -Semitic statements of Grzegorz Braun on television. – I haven't heard. I have not heard because I do what is happening here at the moment – said Świrski.
Allegations against the head of KRRiT
The chairman of the National Broadcasting Council, who, according to the Constitution, guards the public interest in radio and television, apparently hears only what he wants and when he wants. Maciej Świrski heard a late March commentary on journalists of “Super Express”, which was to reconcile in religious feelings, and for which he imposed on them over PLN 100,000.
– It is part of PiS propaganda. There is no case that it is in the first line of the entire structure of this propaganda, which has been for eight years – he believes Grzegorz SchetynaSenator of the Civic Coalition.
When PIS He lost the election, Maciej Świrski became one of the few with real power. According to the rulers, he does what he can to help his environment return to power. – If Świrski does not see the scandalous, anti -Semitic statements of Braun, does he mean who he is? A politician who operates in the Jarosław Kaczyński group – believes Tomasz Trela, MP of the New Left.
Voting of the Sejm is getting closer
Acting in the interest of PiS is one of the reasons why MPs of the ruling coalition want to put Świrski before the State Tribunal. There are ten others: an attempt to interfere in independent media or blocking money from subscription for public television.
– Farse consisting in making unfounded and unfounded allegations towards the chairman of the National Broadcasting Council – commented Iwona Arent, MP of Law and Justice. – Most of these allegations that were made were confirmed by this evidence – noted Maciej Tomczykiewicz, MP of the Civic Coalition.
MPs from the Constitutional Responsibility Committee submitted a report. At the beginning of May they are to accept them. The next stage will be voting in the Sejm. – That's what all the behavior was done to tear me away from activities – believes Maciej Świrski.
Chairman Krit Either he really knows nothing about Grzegorz Braun's anti -Semitic statements, or he pretends to know nothing. Lack of reaction is consent to hate speech in the media.
