How much will the minimum wage be in 2026? The Ministry of Finance in a statement reported that he would like to raise the lowest domestic to PLN 4806 gross, i.e. by PLN 140. The labor department proposed a more generous increase, which was protested by organizations gathering entrepreneurs.
Ministry of Finance denied media reports in a message that suggests that the ministry proposed an increase in the increase minimum wage in 2026 below the forecasted inflation next year. “The Ministry of Finance has never presented such a proposal” – noted in the communiqué.

Employers protest
The minimum wage proposal in 2026 was in the Thursday agenda of the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers.
Representatives of employers in a common position emphasized that the proposal of the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy, that the minimum wage would exceed 5,000 next year.
