A dramatic rescue operation after the earthquake is underway in Mjanm. On Sunday, the services announced the saving of a pregnant woman who spent over 50 hours under the rubble. Unfortunately, she died in the hospital shortly after.
As a result of the Friday earthquake in Mjanm (Burma), a pregnant woman was under the rubble of a residential building in the city of Mandalaj. After 50 hours on Sunday, she was pulled alive. Unfortunately, she died in the hospital on the same day – informed the AFP news agency.
Rescuers thought that they managed to save 35-year-old Math Thu Lwin from the ruins of the Sky Villa residential complex in Mandalaj, who collapsed as a result of the Friday earthquake. A pregnant woman after 50 hours was found live and evacuated from debris, but shortly after that she died in the hospital.
Local and Chinese rescuers who came to the rescue used various tools to pull the imprisoned woman. “We tried everything to save her,” said one of the rescuers, but he explained that Lwin lost too much blood by amputation of the leg, which she was subjected to when pulling out of debris.

Earlier, the Singapore Civil Defense Forces (SCDF) and the Mjanma Fire Brigade Department were reported. Rescuers needed about 24 hours to get a 24-year-old man from the debris. “He spent 40 hours under the collapsed building,” one of the rescuers from Mjanma said in an interview with MRTV.
According to the official SCDF website, the man was imprisoned under a collapsed, three -story building and was extracted using specialized concrete cutting equipment. The 24-year-old is in a stable condition and was taken to a local hospital.

Nearly 1,700 fatalities
The earthquake hit the central part of Majanmy (Burma) on Friday. It had a magnitude 7.7. Almost 1,700 people were killed as a result of the element, and over 3,000 were injured – the government said on Sunday. The search for 300 missing people is underway.
The head of Junta General Min Aung Hlaing warned that the number of fatalities may increase. “The search and rescue operation in the affected areas is underway,” says Junta's message, which was quoted by the state media.
