It was supposed to be an ordinary roadside check. On Thursday (November 11), around 9 p.m. on Przemęcka Street in Mocha, the policemen from the police station in Przemęt stopped the driver of a delivery truck with a tow truck with two cars on it.

The driver stopped in the indicated place. And as soon as he opened the cabin door, the policemen knew that the intervention would not end with checking the documents.

The smell betrayed everything

– Immediately after opening the cabin door, officers noticed a very characteristic smell of marijuana emanating from the interior. The man who, after identification, turned out to be a 25-year-old resident of Moch, was clearly agitated and nervous. When asked, he admitted that he smoked the so-called marijuana twist – explains Wojciech Adamczyk, a press officer of the Wolsztyn police.

But this is not the end. When the policemen entered the driver’s data into the system, it turned out that that day, not only because of drugs, he was not allowed to drive. – The man was prohibited from driving motor vehicles issued by the District Court in Wolsztyn – says Adamczyk.
