Monica Richardsonwho spent in TVP 20 years, since 2019 she has not appeared on TV. Although initially, after the change of government in Poland, she did not rule out a return to Woronicza, she no longer thinks about it. And she does not hide the fact that she has an idea for an innovative public affairs program. However, she would not like to implement it in the current Polish Television, of which she again does not have a good opinion. – I was a big fan of the new team. Unfortunately, I was terribly disappointed. First of all – the lack of plan and vision – she confessed in a new interview with Plejada. And in a further statement she joined the group of viewers who criticize the dismissal of all the stars “Questions for Breakfast”.

Interestingly, the famous journalist believes that currently TVP it's worse than in the past Jacek Kurski. These are strong words from her mouth, because she emphasizes that she is not a fan of the former president. According to her, television is again political and divisions are visible there. And there is no idea for a program offer that will attract viewers to the screens again. Because, after all, currently famous programs are still experiencing strong declines. – Kurski's television was ironically said to have a “short bench”. Many artists, but also many journalists, did not want to be associated with TVPiS in any way. Meanwhile, it turns out that in this new TVP the bench is even shorter. With all due respect to my colleagues who returned to TVP after eight years of PiS rule – reheated cutlets will not suffice. You need to have an idea – she assessed Richardson. According to the journalist, viewers TVP from 2015-2023 are not important for the new management. And the current hosts of “Questions for Breakfast” are like kid in the fog and when they disappear from the program, the world will forget about them. And the program itself, in her opinion, is about nothing.
Some presenters are very valuable, but they are totally lost. They don't know what they are doing. Taking on topics that have not been discussed on TVP for the last eight years is really not an idea for a program. You have to think about who and what you want to convey. (…) Professional presenters, and such are the ones currently employed in “Pytanie…”, will host any program. The question is whether they have something to host, not what their last name is.

Monika Richardson has no doubt that Kinga Dobrzynska she shouldn't part ways with all the faces of the breakfast buffet in January, but focus on the topics that are discussed on the vision. – I think firing all the previous presenters was the stupidest move possible. Especially since TV personalities like Tomek Wolny or Olek Sikora are not born on the vine. Telewizja Polska educated them, gave them a name, and now other stations will profit from it. Was it really worth investing in people for years, only to throw them out overnight? – she asked rhetorically.
She also recalled the recent internet brawl in which the host of “Pytania na Śniadanie” got involved with viewers. Let us recall that during the show she insulted the former stars of the program. – How can you behave like that? How can you continue working after something like that? And, unfortunately, that's why it's no longer my television – that's why I don't respect TVP. And I don't respect the decision of director Sygut either. I'm very sorry, but these ladies and gentlemen: Mr. Sygut and Ms. Dobrzyńska, have created a very toxic duo. They undoubtedly support each other, apparently Ms. Kinga starts every second sentence with: “Tomek and I believe that…”, but they certainly don't support the restoration of public media in this country – the journalist concluded.
