Police officers from Piaseczno stopped a 32-year-old driver who exceeded the speed limit by 77 kilometers per hour in a built-up area. “He was in such a hurry to the match that he didn’t even notice the police patrol. The 32-year-old lost his driving license and will pay a fine of PLN 2,500” – reported Magdalena Gąsowska from the Piaseczno police.
As described by the police officer, the 32-year-old is “an example of reprehensible behavior and reckless driving.” The man was driving through the town of Łoś in a built-up area where the speed limit is 50 kilometers per hour.
“He was driving nearly 130 kilometers per hour. The rush – as it turned out for the match – was so huge that the driver did not even notice the marked police patrol. The officers measured the departure speed, and imposed a fine of PLN 2,500, 15 penalty points on the unreasonable 32-year-old and suspended his driving license for three months.
And she appealed to the drivers: Let us remember that each of us has an impact on the level of safety on our roads with our behavior. The stopping distance increases with speed. Behind the wheel of a vehicle, let’s not forget about a large dose of common sense.
