Morbidelli, a member of Valentino Rossi’s VR46 Academy, will journey one of many satellite tv for pc squad’s Desmosedici GP24s subsequent season, changing Honda-bound Johann Zarco.
The Italian will companion Jorge Martin, who has a pre-existing contract to stay at Pramac.

Morbidelli, the 2017 Moto2 champion, had been linked with a transfer to the Ducati camp for a while because it turned more and more clear he wouldn’t retain his Yamaha journey, which eventually went to Alex Rins.
Initially it was thought the 28-year-old may be part of the VR46 group owing to his long-standing hyperlinks with Rossi, however Marco Bezzecchi’s reluctance to depart the squad meant that the chance got here up for Morbidelli to hitch Pramac.

Pramac’s announcement leaves solely Gresini of the three satellite tv for pc Ducati groups left to announce its rider line-up for 2024, with the group thought to be Marc Marquez’s main alternative in the event the Spaniard opts to leave Honda.
