Mother's Day, which is a great opportunity to thank, wishes and great bows for our mothers. In TVN's “Facts” we decided to show great respect for adoptive mothers. This is never an easy decision, because there are always emotions and dilemmas, but in the end love wins.

Being a mother is not genes, it's love. – My mother got flowers from Jasia today, from Lenka, Maja and Marysia – says Paulina JagieÅ‚a -ÅšliwiÅ„ska from adoptive Misiulaków. Although they did not give birth to their children, each of them is a mother. – Their hearts are healed. And the most difficult? The most difficult is probably the baggage of experience, which needs to be accepted – says Paulina JagieÅ‚a -ÅšliwiÅ„ska.

On Mother's Day, we give the voice to adoptive mothers. Last year, almost two and a half thousand children were adopted. – We met him really so muted, and today he talks more than me – says Monika GÅ‚ażewska -Flisk, an adoptive mother. – These are emotions that cannot be described – indicates Joanna SadÅ‚owska -KaÅ‚ucka, author of the blog “with a view of the mountains”.

Joanna is an adoptive mother of 6-year-old Maja and 4.5-year-old Cubawho are biological siblings. – We found ourselves. Despite the fact that not from the belly, until the soul – says Joanna SadÅ‚owska -KaÅ‚ucka.

“Recovering Emotion” Adoption process

The experience with the adoption process is different. It all starts with an adoption center. Candidates can choose it throughout the country, there is no regionalization. – We closed in one year from submitting documents to the adoption center to receiving qualifications – says Joanna SadÅ‚owska -KaÅ‚ucka.

– This is a difficult process. It is a process such a bit of our emotions. And it was probably the most difficult, but I think it is very much needed – admits Monika GÅ‚ażeska -Flosek.

And although it is hard, it is a chance to fulfill the desired dreams about the child. – I dreamed of biological and adopted children, but it turned out that I could not get pregnant. I suffer to endometriosis – says Paulina JagieÅ‚a -ÅšliÅ„ska.

According to the data of the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy, currently about 1.8 thousand children are waiting for placement in foster care. – There are many more of these children than people who are able to deal with children – notes Aleksandra Gajewska, deputy minister of family, work and social policy from the Civic Coalition. – We care about such a very hard work of poviats to create these families – he adds.

– We have very few reliable and professional families. We have only two thousand professional ones. This is a drop in the sea – indicates BartÅ‚omiej Jojczyk, president of the Foundation of Good Initiatives.

And yet you can change someone's life, giving love and care. – Is it biological or adoptive, I am just a mother. When it comes to foster care, I am also a mother – says Lena PresidentÅ„ska -Jeleman.
