On Saturday morning in Góra Kalwaria (Mazowieckie) police officers tried to stop the driver for inspection. He did not respond to commands and ran away. The officers gave chase.

On Saturday after 4 o’clock on Grójecka Street in Góra Kalwaria, police officers tried to stop an Iveco vehicle for roadside inspection.

“The man sitting behind the wheel did not respond to the light and sound signals issued by the officers ordering the vehicle to stop. A dynamic chase began during which the driver cut off the road, pushing the police car to the side of the road, which posed a threat to the officers” – said Magdalena Gąsowska from the Poviat Headquarters in a message Police in Piaseczno.

The pursuit ended with the arrest of the driver, who turned out to be a 28-year-old man. According to the officers, the test of alcohol content in the exhaled air showed that he had almost 2 per mille. The man was taken to the police detention center, where he awaits further actions with the participation of investigators.
