The bus broke down at a railway crossing in Kolonia Góry (Lubelskie Voivodeship). The locomotive ran into the vehicle. The services are explaining the causes and circumstances of the incident.

The incident took place on Tuesday (March 14) before 7 p.m. in the town of Kolonia Góry in the municipality of Zakrzówek in the district of Kraśnik. A public transport bus broke down near the Sulów station at a railway crossing. – The driver, due to the fact that he could not move on, got out of the vehicle and tried to signal the failure to the driver of the oncoming locomotive. Despite the attempt to stop, there was a collision – said junior aspirant Paweł Cieliczko, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Kraśnik.

The bus was descending to the base, there were no passengers in the vehicle, so no one was injured. As the midshipman Cieliczko reported, both the bus driver and the train driver were sober at the time of the accident.
