The first trailer of “Strange Way of Life” – Pedro Almodovar’s new short film starring Pedro Pascal and Ethan Hawke – has appeared online. The media write about a “queer western”. The creator himself admitted in one of the interviews that the film “has something that most westerns don’t have”.
“Strange Way of Life” will premiere at this year’s Cannes International Film Festival, which will run from May 16 to 27. However, on Wednesday, the first trailer of the production with Pedro Pascal and Ethan Hawke, who play the main characters, appeared on the Internet.
Pedro Almodovar’s new film tells the story of two men, Sheriff Jake and Farmer Silva, who meet 25 years after working together as hired gunmen. Soon it turns out that the pretext for the meeting, contrary to appearances, was not the desire to meet old friends.

Rolling Stone hailed Strange Way of Life as a “queer western.”
